Jimmy Kimmel Responds to Donald Trump’s Criticism
Jimmy Kimmel said, “I’ll go when you go,” to President Donald Trump.
The 58-year-old talk show host, whose show was briefly suspended in September, began his program on Thursday with a special message for “the angry orange” after the US leader demanded that he be fired shortly after the show’s Wednesday episode aired.
A particular hello to those observing from the White House, Jimmy remarked. And you’re aware of your identity!
“This morning, I woke up and am currently in bed.” After using the restroom, my wife emerges. She’s carrying her phone. She says, “You should be fired again because Trump tweeted.” “Oh,” I said. I went downstairs to prepare bagels for the children after that.
“This guy is very impressive. He gets upset and demands my termination every five weeks. One would have little trouble obtaining a restraining order if they received this many threats from their neighbor. “Yeah, that guy sounds like a crazy person,” the judge would say.
Jimmy on his Truth Social platform read aloud the Trump post.
“What keeps Jimmy Kimmel, a man with no talent and extremely low television ratings, on ABC Fake News?” the Trump wrote. Trump wrote. What makes the TV syndicates tolerate it? Extremely biased coverage as well. “Get the fuck off the air!”
The talk show host went on to say, “I think this is interesting. He posted this at 12:49 a.m., 11 minutes after the East Coast show ended.” He gets to see us live, which is good. Mr. President, hello! Hello, how are you? We are honored that you chose to watch us on TV rather than YouTube. Interestingly, viewers like you are the ones who keep us airing.
Additionally, it’s endearing that he uses his valuable bathroom time to post about our show despite the most significant sex scandal in American presidential history. We keep getting negative ratings. And if anyone is aware of poor ratings, it’s that person, therefore you should pay attention to him.
Following a montage showing the former Apprentice star’s declining poll numbers, Jimmy made a promise.
“I respect your perseverance, Mr. President,” he replied. Let me know if you’re watching tonight, which I assume you are, and I’ll go when you go. We will work as a team. Together, like Butch Cassidy and the Suntan Kid, let’s ride into the sunset. In the interim, if I may use your expression, “Quiet, piggy.”
The president had previously grinned when Jimmy Kimmel Live was shut down due to comments the host made regarding Charlie Kirk’s murder.
On his Truth Social platform at the time, Trump wrote: “Excellent News for America: The Jimmy Kimmel Show’s struggling ratings have been canceled.”
“We applaud ABC for finally having the guts to take the necessary action. Even worse than Colbert, if that’s possible, in terms of ratings, Kimmel has absolutely no talent.
After ABC announced that the show will return less than a week later, the president questioned why they wanted “someone back who does so poorly, who’s not funny, and who puts the Network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE.”
