China promises to collaborate with South Africa on a zero-tariff plan and multilateral trade, according to Xinhua
Premier Li Qiang stated on Friday that China is prepared to cooperate with South Africa in order to protect the multilateral trade system and encourage the early adoption of zero-tariff treatment for South African imports, according to state news agency Xinhua.
Li discussed the comments with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa while attending the G20 leaders’ summit in Johannesburg.
