Wendy Williams Allegedly ‘Can’t Go Anywhere’ Despite Recent Health Update

Claims of isolation are part of the ongoing conflict between Wendy Williams and Sabrina Morrissey, her guardian assigned by the court.

Morrissey and the former talk show presenter have been at odds for months. In January, the former host accused Morrissey of making derogatory remarks about her niece, Alex Finnie. Since then, she has consistently refuted the guardian’s assertions on her health.

According to Sabrina Morrissey, Wendy Williams was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and aphasia, rendering her legally incapable and cognitively disabled. The performer was not permitted to celebrate the diagnosis, though, as a leading neurologist disagreed with it.

It is said that Wendy Williams was denied permission to celebrate with friends.

The media celebrity organized an outing with close friends to celebrate the outcome after learning that a leading neurologist was contesting Williams’ diagnoses of dementia and aphasia. Everyone had plenty of time to prepare, according to sources, as the event took two weeks to plan.

But at the last minute, Williams was unable to go on the November 19 expedition because Morrissey apparently stepped in her way. According to sources, Williams was unable to leave her New York City living facility without the consent of her guardian and a bodyguard present.

Williams may depart with her niece Finnie serving as an escort if a bodyguard wasn’t available. On the big day, neither of these two choices were available, and Page Six was informed by insiders that Williams suspected sabotage, stating:

She was unable to contact her security. She believes Sabrina might have written him off.

It is alleged that the court-appointed guardian has a history of undermining the entertainer.

Because Morrissey’s guardian had previously fired her bodyguard behind her back, Williams feared that she had done the same. She dismissed a former bodyguard. She isn’t informed by them. According to insiders, “[Morrissey] doesn’t want her to go out.”

According to reports, the previous presenter of “The Wendy Williams Show” had similar thoughts to her own, and she wasn’t the only one. For the November 19 outing, Williams was scheduled to catch up with comic Luenell, Max Tucci, and Suzanne Bass, who used to produce her show.

Even without her, the friends continued to get together at Tucci’s TUCCI restaurant in the Noho district of New York. According to sources, they blasted “the Sabrina b-tch,” who they said was “pissed off” by Williams’ previous escapades, while gushing about their love for her over the phone.

The lawyer for the former shock jock criticized Sabrina Morrissey as vindictive.

It wasn’t just Williams’ friends who thought Morrissey was punishing their friend by limiting her freedom of movement. Joe Tacopina, her lawyer, agreed, calling the guardian designated by the court spiteful.

Tacopina emphasized that Williams was being punished and kept apart from the people she cared about, not “protected” under Morrissey’s care. The attorney bemoaned how “what ought to have been a safeguard turned into a system of control that limited her voice, her choices, and her dignity.”

“No guardianship should ever feel like a sentence,” the legal representative continued. The accusations Williams and her camp have made against the guardian on numerous occasions, particularly about her fabrications regarding Williams’ mental health, are consistent with these charges regarding Morrissey.

A renowned neurologist allegedly disputes the diagnosis of FTD and aphasia.

As previously mentioned, Morrissey allegedly ruined Williams and her friends’ plans to celebrate her recent health update. According to sources cited by The Blast, a leading neurologist denied the diagnosis of FTD and aphasia.

Following a fresh medical assessment, the neurologist declared Williams to be in good condition, concluding that she was not intellectually handicapped as Morrissey had claimed. Similar opinions were expressed by other medical professionals, who pointed out that Williams did not meet the criteria for having dementia.

These medical professionals claim that because dementia is a crippling illness, sufferers do not recover well. However, since she started her sober journey three years ago, Williams has seen positive development.
