Pierce Brosnan’s family dinner marks the end of 20 years of estrangement
Pierce Brosnan and one of his kids have finally made up after being angry at each other for decades. This gives the Brosnan family another reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving.
He wasn’t close to his son Christopher for 20 years because he was struggling with drug abuse. “James Bond” star used tough love to help his son get over his bad habits, and he just recently welcomed him back into the Brosnan family.
After getting married to his first wife, Cassandra Harris, Pierce Brosnan took in Christopher and Charlotte, his late sister. The actress, who has since died, welcomed the two during her second marriage to the late film director Dermot Harris.

New sources say that Pierce and Christopher have started spending time together again after 20 years of being apart. Last Wednesday, they were seen having dinner at the famous restaurant Dorian in London’s Notting Hill neighborhood.
Pictures of the event that Page Six got showed that the healing dinner was a family affair, with Pierce’s son Dylan, who is 28 years old, there. The three people were seen walking next to each other and talking, and they all looked happy.
The family sighting comes a year after Christopher came back into the public eye in June of last year. He was seen running chores at a London Waitrose grocery store. This was one of his few public appearances in decades because he hasn’t talked to his father in decades because of his drug problems and legal problems.

One of Pierce and Christopher’s other kids, Dylan, was sitting with them, and the source said, “They both looked happy and at ease.” People noticed that the father and son seemed to have moved on from their well-known fight and were ready for a new start.
Christopher finally gave up his drug and alcohol abuse, but he wasn’t the only Brosnan who had problems with drugs. Pierce married his first wife, Cassandra, who died in 1980. On September 13, 1983, he had a son named Sean.
