Mohammed Kudus will not be participating in Ghana Friendlies due to his injury setback
Mohammed Kudus, a star for Tottenham Hotspur, has not joined the Ghanaian national team in preparation for their forthcoming friendly in Asia because of injury worries.
The 24-year-old offensive midfielder will miss Ghana’s matches against South Korea and Japan in the Kirin Cup after missing the previous two Tottenham Hotspur games due to a minor injury.
To continue his recuperation in London, Kudus has been released from international duty, according to confirmation from Ghana’s technical team.
Regarding Kudus’ health, Spurs manager Thomas Frank is still upbeat, stating that he is “very confident” the midfield player will be ready for their upcoming Premier League match.
As they prepare to test their mettle against elite Asian opponents, Kudus’ absence will be a serious setback for Otto Addo’s team, who have been one of Ghana’s most impressive players in recent months.
The Black Stars’ next games are against South Korea on Tuesday and Japan on Friday.
