Turkish delegation will meet in Pakistan with the goal of concluding a peace agreement with Afghanistan

President Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey’s defense and foreign ministers as well as its intelligence director will visit Pakistan this week to engage in sporadic negotiations with Afghanistan over a ceasefire in South Asia.

Erdogan stated in an official summary of his remarks on Sunday during a flight back from Baku, where he met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, that the goal of the three-nation visit is to quickly establish a lasting ceasefire and peace between the two countries.
