Saudi Arabia puts two people to death for planning strikes on places of worship

Saudi Arabia said on Sunday that it had put two citizens to death for joining a terrorist organization that intended to assault houses of worship.

According to the Saudi state news agency SPA, which cited an interior ministry statement, the two individuals also plotted assaults against security officers and facilities.

None of the attacks’ anticipated dates of occurrence were specified in the statement.
