French citizens are urged to depart Mali immediately

The French Foreign Ministry advised its citizens to depart Mali as soon as possible by commercial aircraft rather than by land since “attacks from terrorist groups” have targeted the country’s main roadways.

The official warning against visiting the African nation “regardless of the reason” has been reaffirmed by the ministry.
