Jay-Z Wins Significantly in Supposed Paternity Case Against Child of a Secret Love A decade from now

Finally, Jay-Z’s ten-year paternity issue is over.

Due to allegations that he was the father of Rymir Satterthwaite, the now-deceased son of Wanda Satterthwaite, the American rapper was sued.

A decade later, the court has ruled that the matter has been dismissed and cannot be reopened.

The paternity lawsuit filed by Jay-Z was dismissed with prejudice.

In his paternity suit, Rymir Satterthwaite accused Jay-Z of having impregnated his mother, Wanda Satterthwaite, in the 1990s. The rapper, however, denied the allegations and submitted a motion to have the federal paternity action dismissed.

Page Six has reported that the court granted Jay-Z’s motion and dismissed the case with prejudice. This means that Rymir, 30, will not be able to sue Jay-Z again or request paternity testing from him in the future.

The paternity drama has been going on for more than ten years. It didn’t start this year. Wanda previously filed a legal complaint in New Jersey, claiming to have had an intermittent connection with Jay-Z, and demanded that the rapper pay her child support. But that case was dropped until Rymir re-filed it in 2014.

In 2023, Rymir reexamined his allegations and requested in court that Jay-Z undergo a DNA test to confirm his paternity. “This will not end until justice is done,” he declared, vowing to not back down. Until I succeed, I will not give up on this. And since the law is in our favor, I will prevail.

But later in July of this year, Rymir posted that he had withdrawn the federal paternity case due to numerous things “going on behind closed doors.” He further clarified that he had just moved aside to “play chess, not checkers,” not to break up the fight.

Rymir’s claims were labeled as repeated “harassment” by Jay-Z’s legal team.

Rymir persisted in his assertions, but the business mogul’s legal team likewise refused to back down, intent on disproving the young man’s lies.

The records stated that “the false accusations and claims have been addressed—and rejected—in multiple other courts.” The legal team also described Rymir’s acts as an addition to the numerous instances of “harassment.”

In the meantime, Rymir asserted that he was requesting compensation for the emotional and reputational harm the case had caused him, not to harass Jay-Z for unpaid child support.

The musician allegedly “committed fraud upon multiple courts, misrepresented facts, interfered with procedural due process, and exploited legal systems in multiple jurisdictions to suppress Plaintiff Rymir’s paternity claim,” according to the initial paperwork filed by his legal team.

It has been reported that Rymir has a history of court complaints.

During the ongoing dispute between Rymir and Jay-Z, the “Drunk in Love” rapper argued that his purported love kid was not entitled to make the paternity claim since he was prohibited from bringing fresh charges in fresh Jersey.

According to The Blast, he further asserted that Rymir was merely trying to reverse the injunction, which had been denied by multiple courts.

He therefore urged the court to disregard his new allegations. He added that the true father of his supposed love kid had previously been found and was required to pay child support.

However, Rymir adamantly denied being aware of the order, asserting that no court had served him.

When Rymir’s mother was a minor, Jay-Z was accused of having sex with her.

In addition, Rymir maintained his position, stating that his whole family had been “fighting really, really hard against very, very strong opposition” to ensure that justice was done for them.

His mother left behind a video that told her side of the story before she passed away in 2016. The Blast reports that she asked Jay-Z for a paternity test and specifically backed up her son’s allegations.
