Britney Spears Removes Her Instagram Following a Run of Inaccurate Posts
The 43-year-old pop star seems to deactivate her account on Sunday following a series of inconsistent posts and a public argument with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. Her profile now displays a notice stating that it “may have been removed.”
After Britney posted videos of herself dancing with obvious bruises on her arms and mysterious remarks concerning her boys, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, fans became alarmed for weeks before the decision was made.
In one post, Britney posed in front of a mirror at her Los Angeles home while wearing knee-high black boots and a plunging pink bikini.
The background had heaps of clothing on the ground, which sparked a fresh conversation about her health.
She disclosed a “horrible” leg injury in another video from last month, stating that she had “fallen down the stairs” and that her leg “snaps out now and then.”
“I don’t know if it’s broken, but it’s snapped in for the time being,” she remarked. Thank you, God.
Online, fans voiced their alarm.
“I hope she’s getting good care and rest,” someone wrote on X.
“Britney needs help; that was painful to watch,” someone else remarked.
In reference to her faith and her kids, Britney wrote in the caption of the same video: “My guys had to leave and go back to Maui… I use painting as a means of self-expression and prayer. Who is your father in heaven? I just want to be a decent lady and get healthier; I’m not here to show sympathy or care. and I have amazing support, so have a fantastic day!
The posts were made in the midst of continuing hostilities with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, who recently published a memoir titled You Thought You Knew that included fresh accusations on Britney’s actions throughout their marriage and early years as parents.
According to Kevin, Britney once “punched” Sean in the face and was occasionally spotted by their sons “clutching a knife” in their bedroom doorway.
He also said that she previously wished both of her sons “dead” and fed Jayden shrimp in spite of his allergies.
Kevin said that Britney’s 13-year conservatorship, which ended in 2021, “brought stability when it was desperately needed.” Kevin was married to Britney from 2004 to 2007 and later obtained full custody of their sons.
Furthermore, he stated that it has become “impossible to pretend everything is OK” since its conclusion, cautioning that “if things don’t change, something bad is going to happen, and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces.”
Britney claimed in her own posts before to deleting Instagram that she had been “demoralized” by her tense connection with their kids and that Kevin had “gaslighted” her.
