The UN rights office is worried about the killings in Tanzania
The U.N. human rights office reported on Friday that security forces have reportedly murdered at least ten people during protests that followed a general election earlier this week.
“The deaths and injuries sustained during Tanzania’s ongoing election-related protests are concerning. U.N. human rights spokesperson Seif Magango told Geneva reporters, citing “reliable sources” in the nation, “Reports we have received indicate that at least 10 individuals were killed”.
