Protests in Cameroon before the election results killed four people, the opposition says

Issa Tchiroma, the presidential candidate running to unseat veteran leader Paul Biya, said Sunday that at least four people were shot dead during opposition protests in Douala, the commercial center of Cameroon.

A day before the verdict is scheduled to be revealed, on October 12, Tchiroma called for the demonstrations to demand that the results of a vote be respected.
