President Faye of Senegal begins a three-day visit to Kigali

Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye arrived in Kigali on October 17 and will stay there for three days as part of an official tour.

He was met by President Paul Kagame at Kigali International Airport.

Senegal and Rwanda want to work together and be friends even more, which is why President Faye is visiting.

The two countries are likely to sign a number of agreements in a range of areas during the meeting.

President Faye will also likely go to Irembo and meet with people from the Ministry of Sports and the Rwanda Development Board (RDB).

At a later joint press conference, the two heads of state will talk to the press.

Rwanda and Senegal already have a number of agreements in place. On September 8, they signed a mutual air services agreement that will make it easier for people to travel and do business between the two countries.

Both countries work together in radio, with Radio Télévision Sénégalaise (RTS) and the Rwanda radio Agency (RBA) working together.
