Trump will travel to South Korea from October 29 to 30 in advance of the APEC summit
Donald Trump is scheduled to travel to South Korea from October 29 to 30 in preparation for the Seoul APEC summit.
The National Security Advisor of South Korea said Thursday that US President Donald Trump will go to the country from October 29 to October 30.
The visit takes place a few days before Seoul hosts the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting, which will bring together leaders from the area to talk about trade, economic growth, and regional cooperation. The event starts on October 31.
The White House has not officially disclosed the president’s schedule, but according to diplomatic sources, the trip demonstrates Washington’s resolve to fortify ties in the Indo-Pacific area in advance of the multinational conference.
