Former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga passes away in India from a heart attack
Former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga died Wednesday morning following a heart arrest while receiving treatment in Kerala, India.
According to reports, Odinga passed out while out for a morning stroll on the grounds of the Ayurvedic medical center where he was staying.
According to a representative for the Ayurvedic eye hospital, he was rushed right away to a private hospital in the area but was pronounced dead at 9:52 a.m.
The family had visited the hospital for its specialized care after it had previously treated Odinga’s daughter for visual issues.
The hospital is presently holding Odinga’s body. In compliance with policy, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) has been notified by the local police to begin normal processes.
