Tyrese Gibson is the subject of an arrest warrant in Atlanta

Tyrese Gibson is currently wanted in Atlanta, which has put him in yet another legal bind.

The star from “Fast and Furious” is wanted on animal cruelty charges after his neighbor’s dog, Henry, was discovered dead. Justice has not yet been served, as it was observed that Henry was killed by an attack from another animal, most likely the Cane Corsos of one of the players.

Tyrese Gibson’s legal troubles follow a year after he was imprisoned for child maintenance.

Due to accusations of animal abuse, Gibson is presently wanted in Atlanta, Georgia. After his neighbor’s dog was discovered dead with injuries that seemed to have come from another animal, an arrest warrant was issued for him.

One of the actor’s four Cane Corso dogs has been connected to the death by Fulton County Police Animal Services. Gibson has allegedly been allowing his canines to roam freely, thus it was easy to draw the conclusion from the findings. 

According to WSBTV News, there have been multiple calls to the police recently about pets being left alone, which has reportedly caused anxiety.

Harrison Parker, Gibson’s neighbor, called police authorities on September 18 to report that he had allowed his 5-year-old dog, Henry, to go loose in his own yard, which was enclosed by an invisible fence. Minutes later, he came back to find Henry dead and punctured by another animal.

The actor’s dog was easily linked to the crime scene because, in addition to the numerous reports previously noted, recovered security film showed the Cane Corso scratching at a door across the street a few minutes prior to the attack.

According to reports, the 46-year-old entertainer is in Dubai for a mental health vacation that will go until November. “My much-needed mental health recovery begins now!” he wrote beside a reel he shared on Instagram. I will not return till November. Peace.

According to reports, he made a pledge to turn up his canines to Animal Services after the incident, but he never followed through on it. He hesitated and requested more time when the officials came to pick them up. He was then informed that a search warrant will be issued and that any more delay would not be tolerated. 

A warrant was issued to search Gibson’s property for the pets and to arrest him as their owner because he refused to comply with the warnings. Since the dogs had been relocated before to the police’s arrival and the actor was clearly not present, he had a surprise planned.

What Was Inside The 46-Year-Old’s Last Arrest

Gibson’s ex-wife, Samantha Lee, arrested him in 2024 for not paying child support. Gibson was not amused when his daughter Sonraya, whom he shares with Lee, had her child support raised from $2,200 per month to just over $10,000.

Judge Kevin Farmer, the presiding judge, found Gibson in contempt of court for his months-long, persistent refusal to pay. After that, the actor was led from the courthouse in handcuffs. 

Farmer told the actor during the hearing that he would have to pay $73,000, including his ex-wife’s legal bills, to resolve the contempt charges and avoid going to jail.

The Blast reported on the incident, emphasizing both Gibson’s innocence and the fact that he had arranged to pay the fine in order to obtain his release. He asserted in a since-deleted Instagram post that the judge had established a conflict of interest and was biased against him, and that the law was not on his side.

Gibson had arguments with his first wife, Norma Mitchell, in addition to the drama around child support and the divorce from Lee and Sonraya.

Judge Farmer had to address the couple during his court case with Lee, telling them to be friendly and not to be cruel or aggressive to one another in front of their kid. 

He said that his decision on child support was meant to be aimed toward the child, where it belongs, rather than as a kind of retribution against Gibson.

Their problems with Mitchell started when the actor accused her of fraud and blackmail. She filed a defamation case in response to the accusations. 

She filed a restraining order against Gibson to prevent him from seeing his daughter because their relationship was so strained, but it was subsequently rejected because she did not show up for the last hearing. She also requested that he take down a number of his Instagram posts.
