Trump accuses the UN of being ineffectual and takes credit for putting an end to seven wars in seven months

Trump claims he personally ended seven conflicts in months without the UN’s assistance, calling the organization weak.

Trump maintained that he personally oversaw the settlement of battles that had stretched on for decades, claiming that his government had made diplomatic strides where the UN had failed.

Trump said, “I have ended seven unendable wars in just seven months,” citing conflicts in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. They said that they couldn’t be ended. You will never be able to fix them. Two of them had been going for thirty-one years. Consider it for thirty-one years. One was thirty-six. One was twenty-eight years old. I put a stop to seven wars. And they were rampaging in every instance, killing thousands upon thousands of people.

Trump maintained that he did what no other country or international organization had done through direct talks with world leaders. “No prime minister, president, or leader of any other nation has ever taken any action that comes near to that. I completed it in an only seven months. This has never occurred before. That has never happened before. Very proud to have completed it.

He harshly criticized the UN for what he called their complete apathy in world crises.

“It’s unfortunate that I had to carry out these tasks rather than the UN. And regrettably, the UN made no effort to assist in any of the cases,” Trump stated. “The only things I received from the UN were a malfunctioning teleprompter and an escalator that stopped in the middle of its ascent.”

Trump directly questioned the organization’s applicability, asking, “What is the purpose of the United Nations? The potential of the UN is enormous. I’ve stated it repeatedly. However, it is far from fulfilling that promise. Generally speaking, at least for the time being, they only appear to compose a letter that is quite forceful and then never follow up on it. It’s just words, and words alone cannot end a conflict. Action is the only thing that can end wars.

Trump said that his true prize was “the sons and daughters who live to grow up with their mothers and fathers because millions of people are no longer being killed in endless and inglorious wars,” even though he reaffirmed that “everyone says that I should get the Nobel Peace Prize” for his accomplishments.
