Military sources claim that the Sudanese army has taken over the central bank’s main headquarters
As the Sudanese army continues to advance in the capital against rival paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), two military sources told Reuters on Saturday that the army has taken over the main headquarters of the nation’s central bank.
A day earlier, it had taken complete control of the presidential palace, marking a significant victory in the two-year-old war with the RSF that has threatened to split the nation.
