In January, South African retail sales increased 7.0% year over year

Retail sales in South Africa increased 7.0% year over year in January following a revised 3.2% increase in December, according to data released on Wednesday by Statistics South Africa.

The month-over-month increase in retail sales in January was 1.2%.
