Trudeau says Friday’s Canada-US business conference will take place
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in a statement on Wednesday that the Council on Canada-U.S. Relations will meet in Toronto on Friday, after the implementation of a 30-day halt on the planned tariffs by the Trump administration this week.
According to Trudeau’s announcement, the summit will examine strategies for boosting Canada’s economy, international commerce, export market diversification, and productivity. It will also aim to improve partner collaboration.
