Sweden gives Ukraine a $1.2 billion aid package
Sweden agreed to give Ukraine its largest aid package to date, totaling 13.5 billion Swedish crowns ($1.23 billion), according to the country’s defense minister on Thursday.
Since Russia’s massive invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Sweden has received 18 aid packages in total.
According to Defense Minister Pal Jonson, the government is currently talking with suppliers in Sweden and Europe to supply equipment that is prioritized, like drones and artillery, at a press conference.
