EU ministers decide to resurrect the border operation in Rafah
Kaja Kallas, the head of the bloc’s foreign policy, announced on Monday that the European Union will resume a civilian mission to monitor the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt.
“It is widely acknowledged that EUBAM Rafah can significantly contribute to the ceasefire,” Kallas stated.
Redeploying it to the Rafah Crossing Point between Egypt and Gaza was approved by EU foreign ministers today. Many injured people will be able to leave Gaza and get medical attention because to this,” she continued.
