Omedi’s transfer to APR brings $2,700 to a lower-tier Ugandan team
Denis Omedi’s transfer to APR FC has brought $2,700 (about Rwf 3.7 million) to Booma FC, a lower-tier Ugandan team.
Omedi, a winger from Uganda, transferred from Kitara FC to the Rwandan champions in January.
Booma FC, a lower league team Omedi played for prior to joining Kitara FC in 2023, had to receive 10% of the $27,000 that Kitara FC paid APR for his services.
According to a special cash payment voucher provided to Times Sport, Booma FC chairman Brenda Mugisa signed and accepted the 10% on Wednesday, January 15.
