Spurs acquire Kinsky, a Czech goalie
Slavia Prague goalie Antonin Kinsky has joined Tottenham Hotspur on a contract that will last until 2031, the Premier League team announced on Sunday.
The deal was valued at approximately 12.5 million pounds ($15.5 million), according to British media. International clearance and a work permit are prerequisites for the 21-year-old’s transfer.
With the addition of Kinsky, Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou will have more goalkeeping options after Guglielmo Vicario, the team’s first choice, missed a significant amount of time due to surgery for a fractured ankle in November.
With 24 points from 20 games, Spurs are currently in 12th place, 21 points behind league leaders Liverpool, after struggling in the league.
