Due to low dollar demand, the Ugandan shilling has stayed strong
Due to a lackluster demand for dollars from importers and commercial banks, the Ugandan shilling remained relatively constant on Wednesday, according to merchants.
In contrast to Tuesday’s closing rate of 3,667/3,677, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,665/3,675 at 0722 GMT.
