Six bodies discovered in a hotel in Bangkok – police official
Vietnamese nationals made up at least six of the bodies who were discovered dead at a hotel in Bangkok on Tuesday, according to a Thai police officer.
Speaking under anonymity, the police official denied earlier reports in Thai media that the six individuals had died in a shooting.
Without providing any details, the official told Reuters, “There is no sign of a shooting.”
A call placed to a number provided on its website by Reuters was not returned by Vietnam’s embassy in Bangkok.
It took some time for the police and ambulance services to respond to requests for comment.
