The State Department noted that as part of Poland’s significant modernization program, which will involve purchasing American defense equipment, the United States announced on Monday that it has reached a second $2 billion direct loan agreement with the European nation for foreign military finance.
A representative for the State Department, Matthew Miller, stated in a statement that Poland is buying F-35 planes, Patriot missile systems, and Abrams tanks.
