Strand Larsen, a Norwegian attacker signed by Wolves from Celta Vigo
The Premier League team announced on Tuesday that Norway forward Jorgen Strand Larsen has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on a one-year loan from Celta Vigo, with the option to automatically make the deal permanent.
With 13 goals in La Liga the previous season, 24-year-old Strand Larsen led Celta in scoring. Throughout his 14 games for Norway, he has three goals.
Matt Hobbs, the sporting director of Wolves, stated in a statement, “Everyone knows that bringing in a number nine was really important to us… and Jorgen was our number one target for the position.”
“Although he’s still young … still developing, he’s shown that he can score goals and puts a lot of work.”
