Charges following three burglaries at a football player’s house
A Premier League football player’s house was among the high-value burglaries for which four people have been charged.
Earlier this month, Alexander Isak, a striker for Newcastle United, had his car stolen and his home at Darras Hall, Northumberland, broken into.
Other residences in Sunderland and Newcastle also had cash, expensive clothing valued at thousands of pounds, and jewels valued at £1 million removed from them.
From the Northeast Regional Organized Crime Unit (NEROCU), Detective Inspector Shaun Fordy declared, “These kinds of crimes will not be tolerated.”
On April 4, Isak’s house was broken into, but his car was subsequently discovered abandoned in Dissington, three miles away, according to the police.
