Rodri: The midfielder for Manchester City claims he needs to relax

Rodri, a midfielder for Manchester City, has announced that he will take a sabbatical for the final stretch of the season as the team looks to win a second consecutive Treble.

Against Real Madrid on Tuesday, in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal, the 27-year-old made his 41st appearance of the season.

That was the third of the club’s eight games in three different competitions in April.

The Spain international admitted that she needed a break.

“Let’s observe how we communicate and handle the circumstance. At times, things just are.

“I must adapt. We are planning for it [the rest], absolutely.”
