Student, teacher killed in Kapsabet High School bus accident in Baringo

At least two people are afraid to dead, and a number of others were injured in an accident in Baringo County.

The Saturday afternoon accident involved a Kapsabet High School bus, which was enroute to Marigat from Kabarnet direction.

According to a police statement, the bus driver lost control while passing a sharp curve and landed at the bottom of a steep slope.

The rescued students were hurried to different hospitals.

A student and a teacher died due to their injuries.

Area Police Commissioner Stephen Kutwa who confirmed the incident believed the bus had sixty-one students, one teacher, and a driver on board at the time of the accident.
