Yanga SC polished Geita Gold to move eight points clear
Tanzania Premier League champions Young Africans (Yanga SC) generated a slim 1-0 win over Geita Gold at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam on late Thursday.
The fantastic finishing from Stephanie Aziz Ki in the 27th minute helped the Club to secure the maximum points.
This was his 13th goal of the season as he keeps pursue for the golden boot at the end of the season. He is now one goal over Azam player Feisal Salum who has scored 12 goals this season.
With this victory, Yanga have summed 52 points in 19 matches and are eight points ahead at the peak of the table. Coming next, Dar es Salaam Derby’ look forward to as Yanga meets Azam at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in the city on Sunday.
