Spain-born Brahim Diaz Dump Spain, Gets First Call Up With Morocco
After deciding to play for Morocco instead of Spain, Real Madrid winger Brahim Diaz was offered his first international call up on Wednesday.
For this month’s matches versus Angola and Mauritania, Diaz was added into Walid Regragui’s 24-man roster, the Moroccan Football Federation announced in a statement.
In 2021, the 24-year-old scored a goal against Lithuania while playing for Spain in a single game.
