13th African Games 2023: Falconets thrash Senegal 4-0 to reach semi-final

The Nigeria U20 soccer women’s team, the Falconet on Monday retained their place in the semi-finals of the continuing 13th African Games 2023 in Accra Ghana defeating Senegal 4 – 0

Thanks to the goals from Loveth Edeh, Motunrayo Ezekiel, Chioma Olise and an own goal were just suited enough to get past their West African opponent.

The Falconets had begun their run on a winning note as they defeated Morocco 2-0 last Friday in their opening match.

The Nigeria U20 females who are also defending champions continued in alike fashion, defeating Senegal 4-0 to record all eminent six points from two games and succeed as group winners also.
