President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council Hon. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi

The President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council Hon. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi has met with the Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, Nadal Al-Nashif and his delegation at the Zanzibar Palace on 9 March 2024.

President Dr. Mwinyi has said that Zanzibar will enhance cooperation in building the capacity of legal institutions, especially law enforcement, the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office. The Deputy Commissioner Nadal Al-Nashif has said that they will help Zanzibar in building capacity, especially legal institutions. Also, in their conversation they have discussed the role of the Media, social development services, tourism, the National Unity Government, and the empowerment of Women and Youth.
