10-Man Tanzania Prisons Inflict Simba SC With Second League Defeat
Simba SC endured their second Tanzanian Premier League loss of the season after admitting a 2-1 defeat against Tanzania Prisons at Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro on Wednesday.
A brace from Samson Mbangula, who scored in every half, gave Tanzania Prisons a two-goal advantage. Nevertheless, in the 89th minute, Fabrice Ngoma pulled one goal back from a corner kick, but it was not enough to save the falling boat.
Simba SC were reduced to 10 men when Mussa Haji took a second yellow card in the 87th minute. Simba remained third on the log with 36 points from 16 matches, while Tanzania Prisons stayed fourth with 27 points in 19 games.
