Chad opposition leader Yaya Dillo Is Reported Killed in a Shootout
Yaya Dillo, who was expected to run in national elections in May, was killed on Wednesday during an exchange of fire with security forces, state prosecutor Oumar Mahamat Kedelaye said on Thursday. The shooting erupted after several people were killed in earlier clashes near the National Security Agency building. Dillo, who led the opposition Socialist Party Without Borders (PSF), was accused of having led an attack against the offices of the internal security agency overnight on Tuesday to Wednesday.
