Liverpool have won the Carabao Cup, beating Chelsea 1-0 after extra time in the final at Wembley. Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk headed the winner deep into extra time as Jurgen Klopp’s enormously depleted side beat Chelsea to claim a record-extending 10th Carabao Cup.
