SAD NEWS – TANZANIA

One person has died after a canoe carrying 12 people was washed away while crossing the Ruvuma River from Mozambique to Tanzania. Ruvuma Regional Police Commander, SACP. Marco Chilya has said that his army in collaboration with the people of Wenje Village, Nalasi Ward, Tunduru District, together with the Fire and Rescue Service have managed to rescue seven people while continuing to search for four others whose whereabouts are unknown.
