Palestinians forced to eat weeds to stave off hunger
ZoneYetu: Palestinians in Gaza are living in starvation-like conditions. Desperate people, not capable to feed themselves or their children, are being required to eat weeds and leaves to stay alive, reported Al Jazeera.
The United Nations has warned that hundreds of thousands of people in Gaza are on the verge of food shortage. About two million Palestinians are facing serious levels of starvation after many of them lost their homes and livelihoods.
