DRC: Minister Jean Pierre Bemba has visited Goma.

zoneyetu – The Minister of Defense in the DRC, Jean Pierre Bemba, arrived in GOMA yesterday, his visit is taking place at a time when government forces are intensifying attacks against the M23 rebels who were allegedly heading towards the city.

According to minister Bemba, he was in Goma to see the wounded from the war as well as to help 12 families who lost their loved ones to bury the dead.

“It is a message of comfort and support also to our friends, the soldiers who are here in SADC, private companies, our patriotic brothers, who are also fighting, we congratulate them for the defense of our region,” said minister Bemba.
