President Samia begins official visit to Norway
President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan is making a State visit to Norway on February 13 and 14 at the invitation the King and Queen. The Head of State is visiting Norway just after completing her visit to the Vatican on Monday, where she met and held talks with Pope Francis, emphasizing the existing good relations between Tanzania and the Holy See.
The visit in Norway is made on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. This will be the first Tanzanian state visit to Norway since 1976.
