The President of Zanzibar and the chairman of the Revolutionary Council Hon. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi

The President of Zanzibar and the chairperson of the Revolutionary Council Hon. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi has said that he has worked with Hayati Edward Lowassa for different periods in the government of the Republic of Tanzania for the third and fourth phase. He continued by saying he has received the news of this tragedy with great regret, he also offers his condolences on behalf of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar and all citizens at large. President Dr. Mwinyi has said this when he was arriving at the house of the former Prime Minister Hayati Edward Lowassa, with Mother Mariam Mwinyi, to comfort the family members of the deceased including Mother Regina Lowassa, Masaki, Dar es Salaam, on 12 February 2024
