God willing attends the G77 meeting with China, Kampala, Uganda

Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa today January 21, 2024 has attended the meeting of the leaders of the country and the government of the G77 group and the government of China which was held in Kampala, Uganda.

At the meeting, the president of Uganda Youzi Kaguta Museveni was given the chairmanship of the G77 group and China by the first vice president of Cuba Salvador Antonio Valdés Mesa.

Speaking after being given the chairmanship, President Museveni has emphasized the importance of unity between G77 and China members in addressing global challenges and calling on nations that continue to support the development efforts of the countries that are continuing.

G-77 and China are a union that began as a group of 77 developing countries that met and signed a joint declaration of the first UNCTAD meeting in Geneva in 1964, with the main goal of promoting economic cooperation. among the countries its members and jointly deal with issues related to development, trade and international financial institutions.

Honorable Majaliwa has represented the President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan in the two-day meeting that started today January 21, 2024 and is expected to end tomorrow January 22, 2024
