WILLIAM RUTO – KENYA
President William Ruto has suffered another setback in his plans to deploy police officers to Haiti.
In his ruling, Justice Chacha Mwita said the National Security Council and NPS lack the mandate to deploy police outside the country.
The ruling came following a petition by Thirdway Alliance Kenya party leader Ekuru Aukot, arguing the move is illegal.
