Hull City forward Sorba Thomas emerged "completely unscathed" following a crash near their training ground that overturned his car, the Premier League club reported on Friday.

Images of his overturned car with shattered glass on a narrow street spread rapidly across social media.

Hull City is pleased to announce that Sorba Thomas is safe following a road traffic accident near the club's Cottingham training ground," the club stated. The club acknowledges the images of Sorba's car circulating on social media and would like to reassure supporters that he has not sustained any injuries and emerged from his vehicle completely unharmed.

Hull, currently positioned third in the league standings after three games, will visit Chelsea on Saturday.
