Macklemore has committed his $1 million earnings from the Ed Sheeran tour to support Palestinian aid organizations and has invited Robert Kraft to match his contribution. Macklemore has announced that he will donate the full $1 million in net earnings from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour to organizations that support Palestinians. The rapper also urged New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to match his donation, just days after Sheeran’s tour removed Macklemore. Macklemore was removed from the tour following his statement “free Palestine” and a political speech at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey earlier this month. He subsequently seemed to hold Kraft responsible, asserting that the billionaire had urged other stadium owners to obstruct his ability to perform at their venues. A spokesperson for Kraft chose not to provide a remark regarding Macklemore’s recent request.
