Noel Clarke has been charged with sexual offenses involving five women

Actor Noel Clarke is facing six sexual offense charges related to alleged incidents involving five women who occurred between 2007 and 2016.

Actor Noel Clarke faces charges related to six sexual offenses after a Metropolitan Police investigation into claims made by five women.

The 50-year-old actor, hailing from Kensington in west London, is facing two counts of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism, and one count of exposure related to alleged offenses that reportedly took place between 2007 and 2016.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) approved the charges on Wednesday after detectives presented a file of evidence stemming from an investigation that commenced approximately a year ago.

Clarke was initially taken into custody on September 25, 2025, as part of the investigation. The police reported that the man, who was in his 40s at the time, was subsequently referred to the CPS for a decision regarding charges.

In a statement, the CPS indicated that its prosecutors had concluded there was sufficient evidence for the case to move forward and that pursuing prosecution served the public interest.

“Our prosecutors have diligently worked to demonstrate that there is ample evidence to advance this case to court and that pursuing it serves the public interest.”


Detective Superintendent Mike Cagney, who is at the helm of the investigation, stated that the women implicated in the charges are still receiving assistance from specially trained officers.

Clarke has yet to make a public statement regarding the charges.

He is set to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21 at 10:00 BST.

Clarke gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Mickey Smith in Doctor Who from 2005 to 2010. He subsequently took on roles as an actor, writer, producer, and director.
