Air Tanzania will restart its flights to Russia on September 7 following a brief suspension

Air Tanzania announced on Friday that it will resume flights between Dar es Salaam and Moscow on September 7, just hours after revealing a temporary suspension starting September 4.

The decision comes after a standard risk assessment of the operating environment along the route," the airline stated on Facebook, without providing details on the reasoning behind the resumption of flights.

Moscow airports have experienced significant disruptions recently due to frequent closures caused by drone attacks, as reported by Flightradar24 data.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy cautioned airlines and insurance companies on Tuesday that Russian airspace was turning "completely dangerous."

He stated that Ukraine presented no threat to civil aviation, "but there will be drones in Russia's skies, and due notice must be taken."

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the incident constituted "state terrorism" and would complicate efforts to resume peace talks with Ukraine.
