Somali airline Starsky Aviation is preparing to expand its operations by launching international flights after 13 years of focusing on domestic routes within Somalia.
The airline is utilizing the Aviation Africa 2026 conference in Nairobi to connect with industry players while exploring opportunities in the regional market.
Nairobi has the potential to serve as a significant hub for the carrier, facilitating connections between Somalia and various markets in East Africa and beyond.
“For the past 13 years, Starsky Aviation has been dedicated to linking Somalia with dependable domestic air services,” stated founder Ahmed Dahir.
“Our vision is to expand Starsky Aviation beyond domestic connectivity and create international routes that link Somalia with the region and the globe.”
Starsky mentioned that it will reveal the international destinations it aims to serve and the aircraft it plans to utilize.
